Wednesday, August 1, 2007 ‘The Libraries of Henry Bacon (a 1 credit CEU class) at the Windsor Public Library at 2:00 pm by Christopher Thomas, a Yale graduate and Associate Professor and Chair, Department of History in Art, University of Victoria, Victoria BC. ‘The Architecture of Henry Bacon’ (a 1 credit CEU class) at the Juniper Hill Inn in Windsor from 5:30 – 9:00 pm with reception and barbeque dinner. Historic Windsor, Inc is the organizer of these classes. VT CSI will provide AIA CEU credits. Henry Bacon was the 6th recipient of the AIA gold Medal in 1923 and best known as the Architect of the Lincoln Memorial.

Friday, September 28, 2007 ~ 'Certified Green Wood' A four part program consisting of: a tour of the certified green forest at the Marsh Billings Rockefeller National Park in Woodstock, a tour of Copeland Furniture (a certified manufacturer), a viewing of a DVD movie on a green wood certified sawmill (while on the bus to Copeland), and finally, a discussion of implementing green wood/LEED in projects (while on the return bus trip to Woodstock). After the program, there will be a preview of the Vermont Wood Manufacturers Association Furniture show (show officially opens Saturday). This program is jointly organized and promoted by VSJF, VWMA, CSI, VGBN, and BSR. Space will be limited to (45) attendees. (4) CEU’s

Thursday, November 15, 2007 ~ 'Insulation Summit' ~ Review of insulation types for: building envelope, HVAC equipment, and plumbing. Discussion of new insulation products and Mini-trade fair. Double Tree Hotel (Joint program with Champlain Valley Chapter of ASHRAE). (2.5) CEU’s.

Thursday, December 13, 2007 ~ 2nd annual 'Made in Vermont Tour ~ Gordon's Window Décor’. Presentation of the properties of insulating window shades, shading blinds, and reflective blinds with tour of the manufacturing plant at Fort Ethan Allen. (2) CEU’s
